2010 Acura CSX

For 2010, the Acura CSX has no significant updates, but the base model is replaced with the CSX i-Tech trim line, which eliminates the previous Technology package. This adds xenon headlights, satellite-linked navigation system with bilingual voice recognition, Blueooth connectivity, and XM satellite radio.

Exclusive to the Canadian market, the CSX shares its platform with the Honda Civic, and is Acura’s entry model. All use a 2.0-litre four-cylinder, but it makes 155 horsepower in the CSX, mated to a five-speed manual transmission or optional five-speed automatic; in the Type-S, it makes 197 horsepower, and exclusively uses a close-ratio six-speed manual.

Features on the CSX i-Tech include 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, active front head restraints, tire pressure monitoring system, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, xenon headlamps, fog lights, satellite-linked navigation system with bilingual voice recognition, Bluetooth connectivity, front splash guards, power sunroof, illuminated vanity mirrors, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, auto up/down driver’s window, power locks with keyless entry, variable intermittent wipers, CD/MP3/WMA stereo with auxiliary input and USB port, XM satellite radio, floor mats, heated leather seats, and 60/40 split-folding rear seat.

The Type-S adds sport-tuned suspension, limited-slip differential, larger front and rear stabilizer bars, brake assist, wing spoiler, illuminated foot well, premium stereo with subwoofer, and leather seats with high-contrast stitching.
